offers floor refinishing services. The finishing process is the “fine tuning” for the presentation of the final product. We prefer to apply our traditional oil-based polyurethane on all of our site finished projects; however, we’re proficient in the use of other finishing methods.
Our Finishing Process
Our traditional finishing process of three coats of polyurethane provides a healthy build-up of finish to protect your hardwood floors. The oil polyurethane has a slight amber undertone and adds richness to your sanded floors. You are also welcome to choose among different finish sheens. We always recommend satin because it shows less wear, but you have the option to choose from semi-gloss and gloss as well.
We always sand in between each of our coats to provide a finished product that is up to par with industry standards.
Maintenance Coat Service
In addition to finishing our sanding projects, we also provide a maintenance coat service for floors that might not require a full sanding. Our maintenance coat process requires some preparation work and an inter-coat abrasion, but can still cut down on time and expense drastically. Give us a call to learn more.
